As I sit alone in this hotel room,
Wandering what will come next,
Going from a job pushing a broom,
To one that is much more complex.
Over the years my life has taken,
Some truly wondrous turns,
My old life I have just about forsaken,
For a life of many more concerns.
Going from a marriage that failed,
Into an International adventure,
Makes me wonder what will be unveiled,
And what will be the clincher.
There is such a difference in my life,
That I can hardly believe it,
Ever since I separated from my wife,
Everything after just seemed to fit.
I never know now when I wake at dawn,
Where the day will take me,
From meetings at the Pentagon,
To winging over the Arabian Sea.
So take it from me, my friends out there,
You can never say your life is done,
You can always live and still have flair,
And your life may have just begun.
